Dr. Khalifa delivered a talk at the Center for Translational Medical Devices at NYU Abu Dhabi and presented at the IEEE BioCAS 2025 Workshop on Intelligent Connected Wearables and Implants for Next-Generation Bioelectronics. He also participated in an engaging panel discussion titled “When Are We Going to Get Invisible Sensors—and What Needs to Change in Current Practices to Achieve That?”

Chris Rourk visited us at UF. He is supporting a project investigating the relationship between brain ferritin levels and electrical impedance. Using rat models, this preliminary research will set the stage for future studies in larger animals.

Excited to announce our groundbreaking results with BlueME—the first magnetoelectric antenna array system designed for underwater agents. In recent Gulf ocean trials, we achieved communication ranges over half a kilometer using low-power embedded devices. This work is in collaboration with Dr. Jahid Islam.
